Craps

Craps is based on an old European dice game called hazard. The name craps comes from “crabs eyes”, the term for the number 2 in hazard. The modern rules were developed in the early 1800s by African Americans in and around New Orleans, Louisiana. Craps is usually played as a betting (gambling) game, but can also be played without betting.
